Purpose of the Role
The Senior Total Rewards Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the design, execution, and continuous improvement of global compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures the smooth day-to-day administration of total rewards operations while contributing to strategic initiatives such as job architecture, global digitization projects, salary structure development, and digitized annual compensation cycles. Acting as a subject matter expert in market pricing and program administration, the role helps attract, retain, and motivate talent through competitive and data-driven reward practices.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain and govern Mondi’s global job architecture.
- Develop, maintain and refresh global salary range structures across all countries, ensuring market competitiveness and alignment to the job architecture.
- Support the execution of core compensation processes — annual compensation review, bonus planning, and off-cycle salary actions — ensuring accuracy, control, and global consistency.
- Conduct global benchmarking and market pricing analysis, including survey participation, market data consolidation and modelling.
- Support global digitization initiatives, including system enhancements and the implementation of digitized annual compensation cycles.
- Perform compensation data audits to ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Perform regular reporting and analytics for senior leadership and finance teams, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the development of Total Rewards communications and training materials to enhance employee understanding and engagement.
- Support Mondi’s pay equity analysis and transparency readiness, including data models, reporting logic, and support for employee query handling.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and systems within the Total Rewards function.
Our requirements:
- 5+ years in Compensation/Total Rewards with global or multi-country scope
- Exceptional analytical and data governance capability
- Strong experience in job architecture, salary range design and benchmarking methodology
- Experience of annual compensation cycles, off cycle management and salary structure management
- Hands-on exposures to HRIS/comp systems (ideally SuccessFactors)
- Experience working in compliance- or regulatory-driven environments preferred (EU pay transparency a plus)
- Experience of standardizing processes and embedding governance across regions
- Detail-oriented, disciplined and execution-focused working style
Languages:
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- German and/or other language would be an advantage
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
