Location: Production Plant, Mszczonów, Poland
Work mode: On-site (100% on-site during the first months of onboarding)
Reporting line: Managing Director

Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager with a strong background in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the packaging industry. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of production processes, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and has proven experience in cooperating with both customers and suppliers.
This role operates in a dynamic production environment, with frequent interaction with production and multiple internal departments. A hands-on mindset, independence, proactivity, and the ability to react quickly and effectively to quality incidents are essential. The successful candidate must remain resilient under pressure and comfortable working close to the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing customer and internal complaint procedures
- Preparing quality reports and analyses
- Defining, implementing, and monitoring corrective and preventive actions
- Cooperating with customers and suppliers in the event of quality issues
- Leading and managing a team of 4-5 quality employees working in a 3-shift system
- Supporting production in identifying and resolving quality-related issues
- Ensuring effective communication and alignment across departments on quality matters
- Maintain management systems in production
Key Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (packaging industry experience is an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of production processes
- High motivation and commitment to work
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop employees
- Proactivity, initiative, and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills
- Ability to make decisions and justify them in a rational and structured manner
- Capability to consider quality topics within a broader company management context
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- High level of stress resilience and ability to work under pressure
- Working closely and communicating with other departments – Production, Sales, Logistics, Maintenance etc…
- Open to travel in Poland (200 km perimeter) – 10-20% of the time
- Usage of CI tools (Lean management, Six sigma, kaizen…)
Additional Competencies:
- Foresight and the ability to plan ahead and anticipate potential challenges
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-changing environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with people of different personalities and levels of expertise
- Ability to build authority and trust through empathy and assertiveness
Other Requirements
- Polish – Fluent
- English language proficiency: minimum B2 level
- Experience managing a small team (4-5 employees, 3-shift system)
- Knowledge of SAP / S4Hana – nice to have
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday
