Finance Business Process Lead

As a Finance Business Process Lead within the Business Segment Corrugated Solutions (CrS) you will play a key role in driving process excellence, digitalisation, and system optimisation across the Finance Cluster. Your focus will be on enhancing operational efficiency, supporting key stakeholders, and contributing to Mondi CrS’s overall competitiveness.

• Lead the implementation of planned Finance Cluster projects for the Business Segment.
• Design and maintain standardised and harmonised finance processes across all CrS plants.
• You will be part of designing new processes for FI and also maintaining FI SAP standard and be part of the roll outs.
• Act as the primary contact for Finance stakeholders across Mondi CrS.
• Communicate effectively with Finance Key Users to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Close contact with other Cluster Leads and other Business Process Experts about the updates, open topics, etc. and your IT counterpart.
• Evaluate and test change requests in SAP FI (need, scope, impact).
• Manage first-level support for FI-related incidents and requests.
• Conduct sprint testing and contribute to system upgrades and enhancements.
• Own and continuously improve assigned finance processes and functionalities.
• Perform data mining and analysis to identify improvement opportunities and define action plans.
• Drive and support automation and digitalisation initiatives in collaboration with local plant teams.
• Train and support Finance Key Users across the Business Segment.
• Create and maintain guidelines based on implemented solutions.
• Continuously update process maps, handbooks, and modelling standards.
• Coordinate and track migration activities, reporting to the Business Process Development Manager.
• Collaborate closely with the Master Data Specialist to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Foster a culture of transformation and continuous improvement within the organisation.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in finance process management, SAP FI and project implementation.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI modules and related systems.
• Experience with process modeling tools (e.g. Signavio).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
